Mascotte Active Filters: pack of 10
Mascotte fills these filters with natural coconut shell charcoal particles. That activated carbon is porous and traps tar and fine particles from the smoke, making it feel cooler and smoother with less of a bitter aftertaste. A ceramic cap sits on each side of the carbon core, giving a steady, optimal draw, even in cold weather.
Use
With a 6 mm diameter, these filters are built for king size and long rolling papers: place the filter at the end of your paper and roll it in. Use each filter once; after one joint the carbon core is largely saturated and filters noticeably less. Grind your herb evenly first with a grinder, and the joint burns more evenly while the filter draws better.

Frequently asked questions
Can I reuse a filter?
You can, but we would not recommend it: after one joint the carbon core is largely saturated and filters noticeably less well.
Do these fit regular rolling papers too?
In narrow regular papers, 6 mm is often on the thick side. These filters are made specifically for king size and long papers.
Do the filters stay effective once the bag is opened?
Keep the bag sealed and dry; moisture reduces how well the activated carbon works.
Mascotte also makes these Active Filters in larger 200-count packs, including the Bright Colors and Greens editions, available from Dutch-Smart in the same rolling papers and filters category.
