Brown (Slim size with magnet) - Mascotte
Mascotte is a brand of the Dutch family business Mignot & de Block, based in Eindhoven, with roots going back to 1858. The company has grown into one of the larger European manufacturers of smoking accessories, alongside its own Gizeh brand. The Brown line is the unbleached version of the classic Mascotte paper: the paper is not treated with chlorine, giving it a natural, light brown colour instead of the bright white of the regular Mascotte papers.
This booklet contains 34 papers in Slim size: narrower and more elongated than King size, making it suitable for a thinner, tighter joint that uses less paper per puff. The booklet closes with a small magnet instead of the usual glue strip, so it stays shut in a pocket or case and the papers inside don't curl or crease.
Use
Carefully tear off one paper along the perforated edge before use, keeping the rest of the booklet intact. Because the Brown paper is unbleached and therefore feels slightly thicker than white paper, it tends to roll a bit more stably, which can be helpful if you're still getting the hang of rolling. Fill the joint with an even amount of tobacco or herb mix, roll it tightly from one side and finish it off with a filter tip, for example from Elements or Greengo. Keep the booklet closed and store it somewhere dry: moisture makes thin rolling paper brittle and hard to roll, while the magnet is there precisely to keep the booklet dust-free and flat.
