Brown tip booklet - Mascotte, 35 tips
Mascotte's brown tips are made from unbleached, natural paperboard: no chlorine bleaching, with a slightly coarser texture than white tips. You roll a tip into the end of your rolling paper, where it acts as a mouthpiece. That keeps the end open, improves airflow while smoking, and stops loose herb or tobacco from being inhaled. Each booklet holds 35 tips that you tear off one at a time.
Usage
Tear off a tip and roll it into a small tube with a couple of turns before rolling the paper around the rest of the joint. A slightly thicker tip gives more rigidity, so fold two or three turns depending on preference. The tips are sized for King Size and Slim Size papers; in standard regular-size papers they tend to run on the wide side.
Storage
Keep the booklet dry and well sealed: moisture makes the paperboard go soft and harder to roll.

Why pick a brown, unbleached tip over a white one?
Unbleached tips aren't treated with chlorine and so have a slightly rougher, more natural-looking paperboard. Functionally (mouthpiece, airflow) that makes no real difference compared with a white tip; it's mainly a material choice.
Does this tip fit a filter pipe?
No, this flat paperboard tip is meant to be rolled into the end of your own rolling paper, not used as a loose filter for a pipe or bong.
