The original Mascotte paper, now unbleached
The Brown Combi is the unbleached version of the classic Mascotte rolling paper, made by the Dutch brand Mascotte, which has produced rolling papers since 1929; that year is printed on the packaging too, along with the words "Original Dutch Quality". Mascotte is part of the Mignot & De Block group from Eindhoven, the market leader in rolling papers in the Netherlands and also known for the Gizeh brand. Unbleached paper contains no chemical bleaching agents, so it tends to burn slower and more evenly than white, bleached rolling paper, which can make for a calmer draw while smoking.
The booklet holds 34 Slim Size papers together with 34 loose tips, so you have everything for rolling a joint in one package without buying papers and tips separately. A magnetic clasp keeps the booklet shut, so the papers don't crease or blow away when you carry it in a coat pocket or bag, and the booklet keeps closing firmly even after opening it repeatedly.
Use
Tear off a paper and a tip, roll the tip into a small tube and place it at one end of the paper before filling and rolling the rest. Slim Size is a touch narrower than King Size, which makes this format comfortable to roll for an everyday joint without needing an extra-large sheet. The unbleached, brown paper is slightly thicker than white paper, which often makes rolling a little easier for beginners because the paper tears less easily.
