Mascotte x Patta: two Amsterdam names in one booklet
This booklet is a limited edition collaboration between rolling paper brand Mascotte and Amsterdam streetwear label Patta. Patta was founded in the early 2000s by Edson Sabajo and Gee Schmidt, two Amsterdam natives with roots in the hip-hop and nightlife scene who started out importing rare sneakers and grew the project into an internationally known clothing brand. Mascotte itself is part of the Mignot & De Block group from Eindhoven, the market leader in rolling papers in the Netherlands and also known for the Gizeh brand. That combination shows in the bold, dark design of this booklet.
The booklet holds 34 unbleached brown Slim Size papers together with 34 loose tips. Unbleached paper contains no chemical bleaching agents, so it tends to burn slower and more evenly than white, bleached rolling paper. A magnetic clasp keeps the booklet shut, so the papers don't crease or blow away when you carry it in a pocket or bag.
Use
Tear off a paper and a tip, roll the tip into a small tube and place it at one end of the paper before filling and rolling the rest. Slim Size is a touch narrower than King Size, which makes this format comfortable to roll for an everyday joint without needing an extra-large sheet.
