Buy stash products

A stash product lets you keep herbs, smoking gear and small items discreetly and tidily in one place. This category has stash cans that look like an ordinary tin or spray can, everyday objects with a hidden compartment, such as a battery or a nut and bolt, plus airtight storage jars and stash boxes for home. A good stash keeps smells in, protects against light and moisture, and keeps your things out of reach of children and pets. Complete your setup with one of our grinders or an accurate scale from our scales category.

Which stash suits you?

That depends on what you want to store, how much and where. On the go you want something small that doesn't stand out, at home it's mostly about freshness and smell.

Stash cans and disguised objects

A stash can looks like the real product from the outside, such as the Heinz 400 ml stash can, a tin of tomatoes or a can of Ballistol. Disguised objects go one step further: the battery stash box is an AA battery with a 14 mm diameter, complete with brand label and print. There's also a nut and bolt, a hairbrush, a marker and a car lighter with a secret compartment. Keep in mind that disguised objects don't hold much.

Airtight storage jars

At home, airtight jars are the best choice. The Tightvac clear has a valve in the lid that pushes air out as you close it, so herbs, coffee or tea stay fresh for longer. The clear version lets light through, so keep it in a dark cupboard or choose the Tightvac solid. The CVault Large 0.95 litre seals hermetically with a gasket in the lid and has room for a Boveda pack that keeps the humidity at the right level.

Stash boxes and cases

The Black Leaf stash box consists of three parts with sliding wood and glass drawers that stay shut magnetically. The middle compartment is just under 40 mm deep and has a fine screen. The Slim Kong Case 2.0 is a compact case for joints and filter tips, so they don't end up crushed at the bottom of your bag.

How to store herbs properly

Light, air, heat and moisture break down smell and taste. That's why you should keep herbs dark, cool and airtight. Too damp increases the risk of mould, too dry makes them crumbly. A glass or metal jar with a good seal works better than a plastic bag.

Store safely

A stash can that looks like a tin of food could be mistaken for the real thing by a housemate or a child. Give your stash a fixed place, up high and out of reach of children and pets. A stash product doesn't change what is and isn't legally allowed.

Frequently asked questions about stash products

Are stash cans smell-proof?

Not always completely. If you really want to keep smells in, choose an airtight jar such as the Tightvac or the CVault.

How much fits in a stash product?

It varies a lot. A disguised battery or marker holds very little, a stash can or storage jar much more. You'll find the dimensions on each product page.

Can I store coffee or tea in it too?

Yes, airtight jars like the Tightvac are also made for coffee, tea and spices.

Am I allowed to buy stash products?

Yes, stash products are legal. Dutch-Smart only sells to customers aged 18 and over.
