"The Bulldog" plastic grinder
The Bulldog was founded in Amsterdam in 1975 by Henk de Vries and grew into one of the best-known coffeeshop brands in the world, with its own line of clothing, souvenirs and smoking accessories. This grinder is one of those merchandise products: a compact black plastic grinder featuring the recognisable bulldog logo on the lid.
The two halves click together with magnets, so the grinder cannot slide apart during use. Inside, sharp pyramid-shaped teeth grind your herbs finely and evenly.
Use and care
Fill the bottom half with herbs, click the lid on, and turn it a few times until the contents are ground. Clean the grinder occasionally with a small brush to remove residue stuck between the teeth; this keeps the grind sharp and stops the mechanism from getting stiff.
