Eco Hemp Scale - 500 x 0.1 g | My Weigh
This scale from manufacturer My Weigh is made from a bioplastic composite reinforced with hemp fibers instead of standard plastic, making it a good fit for anyone who consciously chooses a more sustainable option without giving up precision. Hemp fiber is a fast-growing, renewable crop that can be grown with relatively little water and few pesticides, giving this housing a lower environmental footprint than pure fossil-based plastic. The scale weighs up to 500 grams with an accuracy of 0.1 gram and comes with a sturdy protective lid that doubles as a weighing tray.
Use and maintenance
Operate the scale with its two buttons: power on/off and the choice between grams, ounces, pennyweight and troy ounces. Thanks to digital auto-calibration, you don't need to calibrate manually for a reliable reading. Place the scale on a flat surface and keep the weighing surface clean for an accurate result. Store the scale somewhere dry and replace the batteries promptly once the display starts to dim.

Frequently asked questions
Why hemp fibers in the plastic?
Hemp fiber reinforces the composite and replaces part of the fossil-based plastic, without compromising the sturdiness of the housing.
Do I need to calibrate it myself?
No, the digital auto-calibration handles this automatically, so you don't need a separate calibration weight.
