PES Hawaiian - 1200cc Mushroom Grow Kit: grow your own mushrooms

This PES Hawaiian is a ready-to-grow 1200cc kit and part of the wider PES line in our range (see also the PES Amazonian). The kit arrives fully colonised: the substrate already contains active mycelium, so you only need to add water and fit the grow bag. Check out the rest of our mushroom grow kits for other strains.

How to grow

Wash your hands, remove the lid and fill the container with lukewarm, still water. Let the substrate soak for 8 to 12 hours, then drain off the excess water. Place the kit in the supplied grow bag, seal it with the paper clips and put it in a warm spot with indirect light. Don't spray water directly onto the substrate: the condensation inside the bag keeps humidity at the right level on its own. Open the bag briefly once a day for fresh air.

Growing conditions

• Temperature: 18 to 27 degrees, optimal 22 to 25 degrees
• Light: indirect daylight, no direct sunlight
• Humidity: high, with regular fresh air in the bag
• First pins: usually within 10 to 14 days
• Harvests: multiple flushes possible from one kit by re-soaking after harvest

Storage

Store the unopened kit in the fridge at 2 to 8 degrees and start growing shortly after receiving it for the best result. Once opened, grow the kit out in one go.

Safe and responsible use

Magic mushrooms are for adults only (18+). When you first try the harvest, always start with a low dose and build up gradually. Mind set and setting: choose a familiar, safe environment, preferably with a sober person present. Don't combine with alcohol, medication or other substances, and don't use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Avoid use with a personal or family history of psychosis or schizophrenia.
