Kra Thum Khok 50X Extract | Mitragyna hirsuta
Mitragyna hirsuta is a tall tree from the Rubiaceae family found in parts of Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. The plant is a distant relative of Mitragyna speciosa, better known as kratom, and its leaves have a similar paradoxical effect: depending on the amount, the leaf is associated with both a more alert and a more relaxed feeling. Like kratom, the leaf of Mitragyna hirsuta contains its own mix of alkaloids, distinct from the alkaloids found in kratom such as mitragynine and 7-hydroxymitragynine.
This extract is a 50x concentrate of the leaf. Because Mitragyna hirsuta is less researched than kratom and no standardised dosing guideline exists for this extract, caution with dosing is important.
Dosage
There is no fixed dosing guideline for this extract. Start with a very small amount, for example the tip of a teaspoon, and wait calmly for the effect before taking more. Only build up once you know how you respond to the extract.
Use
Dissolve the powder in a cup of hot (not boiling) water to make a tea, or process it into an empty capsule of your choice. Do not combine this extract with alcohol, MAO inhibitors, benzodiazepines or other psychoactive substances, and do not drive or operate heavy machinery after use. For adults aged 18 and over only; not suitable for pregnant women or women who are breastfeeding.
Storage
Store the extract dry, airtight and out of direct sunlight, preferably in its original packaging.
Alongside Kra Thum Khok, Dutch-Smart also carries Borneo Red and Borneo White kratom powder in the herbs category. Check out the full kratom category for the complete range.
