OB-500 Table Top Scale - 500 x 0.1 g | On Balance
On Balance specialises in digital precision scales and has a wide range in our scales lineup, from small pocket scales to sturdy table models like this one. The OB-500 is a digital table scale that weighs up to 500 grams with an accuracy of 0.1 gram, making it well suited to precise weighing of smaller amounts in the kitchen, the workshop or as a hobby scale.
What this scale is good for
Thanks to its 0.1 gram accuracy and generous weighing platform, the OB-500 suits situations where you need a bit more precision than a standard kitchen scale offers, for example weighing herbs, supplements or small parts. Its relatively solid weight of 616 grams keeps it stable on the counter while you weigh, so it doesn't shift around.
Use and maintenance
Place the scale on a flat, stable surface before weighing. The scale switches off automatically after 60 seconds of inactivity to save the batteries. Keep the weighing surface clean and dry, and avoid use outside the stated operating temperature of 10 to 30 degrees Celsius for a stable reading.
