Alcohol Wipes - Prep Pads (2 pieces)
These prep pads are individually wrapped, pre-soaked wipes of roughly 65 x 30 mm, saturated with a 70% alcohol solution. In general hygiene practice, a concentration around 70% is widely used for quickly cleaning and disinfecting skin and small surfaces, since alcohol at that strength tends to evaporate and act faster than a higher concentration. Within grow supplies, wipes like these are often used to clean an inoculation point, needle or work surface before handling spores, graft material or substrate, as part of a sterile workflow.
Use
Tear open the sachet and remove the wipe. Rub it firmly over the skin or surface you want to clean, then let the alcohol sit for a few seconds and air-dry for the best result. Use each wipe for a single application; thanks to the small size, a loose wipe is also handy to keep separately in a first-aid kit, bag or grow set.
Storage
Store the wipes unopened in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources, so the alcohol doesn't evaporate prematurely. Only open the sachet right before use; once opened, a wipe dries out quickly.
