A snugger fit
A condom only stays in place if the size is right. The Pasante Trim is the slimmer sibling of the Pasante Regular: same latex quality, but with a nominal width of 49 mm instead of the usual 53 to 54 mm. Pasante recommends this size for an erect penis circumference of roughly 10 to 11 cm. If the standard size regularly feels loose, it slips more easily during sex and offers less protection; the Trim solves that without giving up comfort.
Material and finish
The condom is made of latex with a wall thickness of roughly 50 to 80 microns, transparent, straight-shaped with a smooth, teat-end tip. The lubricant is non-spermicidal, so it doesn't dull sensitivity any further. Pasante is a British brand that has specialised in contraception for decades and is active in both the medical and consumer markets; the Trim carries CE certification.
How to use the Pasante Trim correctly
Open the wrapper carefully, without using sharp nails or teeth, and check the condom hasn't already been damaged while opening it. Pinch the tip between thumb and forefinger to keep air out, place it on the tip of the erect penis and roll it all the way down to the base in one motion. If it doesn't roll down easily, it's probably inside out; discard it and use a new one. Use a fresh condom for every sexual act and never combine it with a second condom: doubling up actually increases the risk of tearing through friction.
Storage
Store the pack in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and check the expiry date on the pack before use. Don't carry a condom loose in a wallet or pocket for long periods: heat and friction weaken the latex. If you're unsure about a condom's condition, such as discolouration, stickiness or small tears, don't use it.
