After E
After E is a dietary supplement in capsule form from Dutch-Smart's aftercare range. The pack contains 4 capsules with a combination of vitamins and the amino acid L-tryptophan, meant for anyone who wants a bit of extra support after a night out. L-tryptophan is an amino acid the body cannot produce on its own; it is a building block for substances such as serotonin and melatonin, which play a role in mood and the sleep-wake cycle. The manufacturer describes this combination as suited for a fresh start, but as with any dietary supplement, it is not a substitute for drinking enough water, getting proper rest, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Dosage
Take the full contents of the pack (4 capsules) in one go, not spread out over the day. Do not take more than this amount, even if the effect is not immediately noticeable.
Use
Take the capsules before going to bed, or the following morning, with some water or fruit juice, preferably on an empty stomach. Do not combine After E with alcohol or other substances. If you take medication such as antidepressants, sleep aids, or other substances that affect serotonin levels, consult a doctor or pharmacist before using L-tryptophan.
Storage
Store the capsules somewhere cool and dry, out of reach of children and out of direct sunlight. Always check the expiry date on the packaging before use.
