Fits all cars with the BMW M Sport Brake System (including the M2, M3, and M4 with steel brakes); optional on all models; standard on the M135i, for example, but check the part number to be sure.
Brake pads must be broken in to burn off the resins: Perform this twice (with intervals for cooling and a short period of gentle driving)—each time, brake hard 10 times from 100 to 10 km/h until the ABS kicks in or the brakes lock up.
Note: Do not come to a complete stop to ensure that the brake pad material is distributed evenly across the brake rotors.
